American business, known the world over for its entrepreneurship, innovation and competitiveness, might just as easily be recognized for another attribute – its time spent on legal disputes. That’s the conclusion of a new survey of corporate counsel from international law firm Fulbright Jaworski L.L.P.In its third annual survey of corporate litigation trends – pulling data from 422 in-house law departments worldwide – Fulbright found that U.S. companies face an average of 305 pending lawsuits internationally. Park Reduces Energy Use

The Si View Metropolitan Park District in North Bend, Wash. has completed a $500,000 performance contract implemented by TAC Energy Solutions, a division of TAC, a manufacturer of building automation products, security systems, and energy solutions. Through this project, Si View replaced and/or retrofitted various mechanical, electrical, lighting, and control systems. The park district also received a guarantee from TAC that the facility improvements will provide more than $26,000 in savings annually in utility, operating, and repair costs. Website Focuses On Mounting Solutions For Flat Panel Screens and Projectors

Chief Manufacturing, a maker of mounts, lifts, and accessories for flat panel displays and projectors, has launched a Web site to assist project professionals in the decision-making process.

The site contains up-to-date information, specifications, and drawings on mounting solutions for flat panels and projectors. This data includes a “product specs” tab containing downloads for CAD drawings and technical manuals. Chief plans to add Construction Specification Institute (CSI) specs in the near future.
