Higher Ed Buying Co-Op Contracts With Michelin

Higher education institutions can now save more on tires, tubes, and installation services with a competitively awarded contract from E&I Cooperative Purchasing. As the largest buying cooperative for higher education in the U.S., E&I, is now offering its members access to its Michelin contract. This value-driven contract is the result of a joint endeavor with the State of Georgia Department of Administrative Services.

As part of the program, E&I members can take advantage of significant savings on Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal tires for passenger cars, light and heavy trucks, earthmover, off-the-road, industrial, and agricultural equipment. Benefits of the contract

Pets To Join Campus Life At Stetson University

Stetson University in DeLand, FL will offer some of its students a pet friendly residence hall to live in beginning with the Fall 2010 semester. Students a the central Florida institution will be allowed to live with their pets in Nemec Hall, the university’s first pet friendly residence hall.

Stetson University's co-ed Nemec Hall houses up to 145 students.

Stetson President Wendy B. Libby and her administrative team believe animal loving students will benefit from being allowed to bring a pet to college. Libby introduced a similar program when she was president of Stephens College in Missouri.
