Our EDIsecure® Direct Card Printers are fast and durable, low-cost solutions for organizations and agencies of any size. Color or monochrome images are printed directly onto the surface of a PVC card, and are perfect for most commonly entry and mid-level security needs, such as library cards, time and attendance cards, visitor badges and K-12 student IDs.
Our EDIsecure® XID Retransfer Printers provide over-the-edge, full-color printing with outstanding image quality and enables you to print on longer-lasting non-PVC cards, such as ABS, PET and Polycarbonate, for even more durability. They are ideal for applications which require process print quality or high security features. Our XID retransfer technology does not print information directly onto the card surface, but instead prints onto a polyester film, which is laminated to the card surface. This means that card body is better protected than a standard direct card print. Our new EDIsecure® XID Retransfer Printers possess a revolutionary, dye-sublimation based UV ribbon.
