Sustainability Initiative

Trendway has adopted the BIFMA e3-2011 Furniture Sustainability standard and level certification program as a benchmark for our continuing progress towards sustainability.

Trendway’s independent projects like CarbonNeutral®, VOC reduction, SCS Indoor Advantage™ and internal energy savings are all reflected in, and captured by, this Sustainability Standard. It’s the umbrella framework for environmental efforts at multiple levels of our organization.

The level standard takes many elements into account, including a company’s social actions, energy usage, material selection and human and ecosystem health impacts.

Pursuing this standard will support our efforts to develop increasingly sustainable processes and products.
