However, with regulatory bodies cracking down on non-compliant companies, the market for fall protection gear is set to accelerate and reach $670.5 million in 2017 at a compound annual growth rate of 5.7%.
The proposed rulemaking would require improved worker protection from tripping, slipping, and falling hazards on walking and working surfaces.
