In spite of obstacles, fms largely report making progress in emergency preparedness and business continuity planning since 2001, while also noting there is more work to be done.
IFMA members are a diverse group of facility management professionals concerned with the form and function of the built environment. Representing 78 countries, they manage more than 37 billion square feet of property and annually purchase more than US $100 billion in products and services.
In addition to a conference offering more than 60 educational sessions and keynote presentations, the event will feature an expo as well as governmental agencies including the U.S. State Department and General Services Administration.
