Facility Management Practitioners, academicians, and researchers alike are invited to share their knowledge, experience, and expertise with top-level facility management professionals at the 10th annual TFM Show.

SUBMIT YOUR PRESENTATION BY: Sept. 19, 2007

A completed submission form is required for each individual presentation you submit. The submission process allows you to submit the appropriate information in a timely manner and will be open to accept proposals until September 19, 2008.

About The TFM Show

The TFM Show is dedicated to delivering the highest level of knowledge sharing and expertise to facility executives from all industry sectors. Along with the task of creating high-performance buildings, facility executives oversee daily operations, safety, security, procurement, project management and other challenges. The TFM Show is an important part of the TFM Group’s mission to educate and empower facility executives, through focused events, networking, printed media, Internet outlets, and vendor interaction.

Who Should Speak

Knowledgeable and articulate experts willing to share their insight and real world experiences in specific facility management subjects are invited to submit presentation proposals. Speakers who are experts in their respective fields, academia, and/or accomplished facility management professionals are strongly urged to present. Vendor-affiliated speakers will be considered only if recommended by the TFM Show’s Advisory Board. Submissions that are promotional in nature are strictly prohibited.

Corporate Participation

The TFM Show has provided a means for vendors and service providers to reach the participants at conferences through exhibit options and "Exhibitor Presentations" whereby exhibitors may demonstrate or explain their products to a group of participants at one time. The seven tracks below were designed to deliver information to facility executives in an organized manner. Within each track, topics have been carefully selected and offer opportunities to share and deliver information consistent with the current needs of the facility management profession. Mentoring Sessions

These informal, peer-to-peer discussions provide attendees with the opportunity to interact, trouble shoot, and share challenges. Each mentoring session will be led by a qualified facility professional or expert from the following industries:

Mentoring Session leaders must be actively involved in the strategic planning and/or daily operations for facilities in their respective industry in order to qualify. If you would like to lead a mentoring session and are submitting a presentation online please indicate so on the session submission form. Presentation Review and Selection

Proposals which address theory, research and applications as well as describe innovative projects are encouraged. Presentation proposals will be reviewed by the TFM Show’s advisory board – a panel of accomplished facility management experts, TFM’s editorial staff, and practicing professionals who are experts in their respective fields. Criteria by which proposals and papers will be assessed include:

Speaker Responsibilities

All travel, hotel, and miscellaneous expenses incurred as a result of participating in The TFM Show are the responsibility of the presenter. Because the conference program is intended to provide formal instruction in a non-commercial setting, the distribution and presentation of commercial messages for business solicitation purposes is strictly prohibited in the classroom.

Session Presentations and Handouts

If your proposal is selected, you will be required to provide an electronic written outline and/or supporting material of your presentation. This will be posted on The TFM Show Website.

Please do not include these materials as part of the proposal submission.

Classroom Equipment

Each classroom will have a head table and podium with a wired microphone, an LCD projector and screen. Speakers requiring additional equipment should make that request to The TFM Show as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days before the event. Additional items, including wireless lavalieres, internet access, sound patches, laptops, etc., will be at the speaker’s expense.
